Viña Albali Revamps its Labels
“Due to the brands’ increasing size and the impending projects we have planned for it, there was a need to refresh the Albali range in order to have a clear brand architecture,” Felix Solis’ international marketing manager Inmaculada Moreno said.
The new labels for Viña Albali Tempranillo, Verdejo and Rosado Tempranillo 2012 are lighter and brighter than their predecessors, with the color of the foil corresponding to the color of the wine.
The makeover follows a recent revamp to the labels of Viña Albali Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva, the first of which has just been taken on in the UK by Morrisons.
Made from 100 percent Tempranillo, Viña Albali Crianza is aged for six months in American oak and two years in bottle.
Meanwhile, Ireland’s largest grocery distributor, Musgrave, has taken on Blume Sauvignon Blanc from DO Rueda made from 100 percent Sauvignon Blanc and sealed under screwcap.
Owned by Felix Solis, Blume is the second best-selling wine brand in DO Rueda.
