The Institute of Masters of Wine has unveiled a new logo, designed to provide a simpler, more digital-friendly alternative to its existing coat of arms.

Featuring a simplified version of the shield motif from the Institute’s coat of arms, the new logo will be used on its website, for outreach programs such as trade fairs or masterclasses and in educational applications.

With greater prominence given to the shield’s grape and barrel image, as well as the inclusion of the words “Masters of Wine”, the organization explained its aim “to provide a clearer, fresher way of presenting the Institute to international audiences who may not already be familiar with our work.”
